Stationed in Washington D.C., the branch is mainly in charge of statutes that “prohibit discrimination on the basis of race, sex, handicap, religion, and national origin.” Provides link to various briefs and complaints on file, plus information on the Initiative to Combat Post-9/11 Discriminatory Backlash. Department of Justice oversees the law to defend U.S. interests and to guarantee fair legal treatment for all.
