If you are looking for information on local youth soccer, this is an excellent site. Most helpful are the coaches directory. This site is the Youth Recreation Division of the Department of Parks, Recreation, and Youth Programs, a good place to find general youth recreation information for Syracuse. The Division says it “provides a wide range of drop in and registration-based recreational and educational opportunities to city youth through its operation of year-round neighborhood community centers and summer recreation programs.” The website has a list of youth sports programs on the side, and each program has its own page for current and upcoming events such as camps and clinics. The NYSPHSAA says it is “is a non-profit, voluntary, educational service organization composed of public, parochial, and private schools dedicated to providing equitable and safe competition for the students of its member schools.” This site has a hall of fame, the committee minutes for the NYSPHSAA, as well as page dedicated to sports records. This site would is helpful for stories on changes/offenses of rules and policies.
